VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
VS 2018 where are the free menu packages?
Does anyone have any idea where the additional free menu packages are? In the previous version X 10.5 Ultimate 2 menu packages were on offer; Unfortunately I did not find anything here.
Thanks for any answer.

Hi Hansi,
Well as you can see, they are no longer included in the Do More tab, which has been removed from VS 2018, you will now find them under the Get More tab of the Welcome screen

Thank you Robert, unfortunately I can not find any disc menu templates in my german version. Maybe this offer was canceled altogether.

Re: VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
The only free templates in Get More are all instant project templates, though labelled Video Template Bundles 1 - 3. But the DVD and Blu-Ray disc menu title templates which used to be available in previous versions are, as far as I can see, contained in the Graphics Pack -- which I think JWolters may be talking about. The blurb for it says that apart from various objects, it also contains "an expanded title and font collection".
I have downloaded it and it does indeed contain a number of things called, interestingly enough, DoMore_Title_01 to 04 and 07 and 08, but strangely missing 05 and 06. I haven't yet installed these (the Graphics Pack contains 50 exe files, with no overall setup file) so I don't know for sure they are the old disc menu title packs, but I'm pretty sure they are.
However, it might be noted that 07 and 08, despite being labelled Title, are possibly the old 07 and 08 font packs. And IIRC in the past we have discussed the missing packs 05 and 06, which were also missing in previous versions' Do More, and had decided they had in fact been included in the original install of VS. However, I simply don't know if this also happened in the first installation of 2018.

Re: VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
Ken, how do you open those folders to see the contents, when I downloaded them, the only place I found the actual folders was in Temp folders, so I copied them to a portable drive, but as you can see they are installation files with no option to see the contents

Re: VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
Me, or more precisely a VS2018 user, could be helped. I got the info that the "Welcome > Get More Content" category should be updated in the next couple of days. Then the menus should also appear again.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
Robert -- when I downloaded the Graphics package (amusingly called"Graphics Pack Pack", including the repeat), it set up a folder on my desktop called Graphics Pack. And that contains the 50 exe files. So I would be looking for that, either on your desktop, downloads folder or anywhere else you might have directed downloads associated with VS.
JWolters: I would not hold my breath waiting for Corel to break apart the Graphics Pack and make individual parts of it available separately.

Re: VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
I just upgrade to VS2018 and as far it seem to work good, except for one think , If I look at "Welcome > Get More Content" At the effect category its empty. I have to look at the X10 version to see what I want .
Have an idea to repair that ?
Ohh I have the french version

The Effect category of the Get More content is empty, one day maybe Corel will populate it

Re: VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
What worked for me I renamed the C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X9 to C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X9 old.
Then I reanmed the C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2018 to C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X9
Then I installed the domore_menu packs from x9. then renamed the folders back to what they where....
Presto the do more title packs from x9 are now installed in 2018

That’s one way to move the files, never thought of that approach.
I will give that a go with the DVD Bluray Menu packs, no longer available with 2018.
Although we would normally copy and paste the files across.
take care as you are re-naming the entire programs installation folder
Thanks for that.

Re: VS 2018 where are the free menu templates?
Hi Trevor,
Did you do this and did you get the Blu Ray menus in VS2018 as I have not been able to see a reply on the board regarding this. I would love to have more menus for my BluRay movies
cheers
Alex

Using X10 install the Menu pack 2, that is for Bluray and will install 10 ( I think) extra BD Menus
The existing menu names start with 07_BD_01 etc
The new files start with 09_BD_01, 60 files in all.
Copy those from X10 to 2018
Menu templates files are here.
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X10\Content\Menu Template\HD Basic\16x9\HD Basic
and
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2018\Content\Menu Template\HD Basic\16x9\HD Basic
