I am using Smart Edge to select an object in a photo. For accuracy I have zoomed the image until it is bigger than the screen. I want to move around the image as I get near or to the edge of the viewing area.
I cannot seem to do it with the horizontal or vertical sliders, and when I tried using the up and down arrow keys it completely messed up the selection I had done so far.
So. Is there a way to move a zoomed image while selecting?
Thanks for any help.
Nick

Re: Moving zoomed image while selecting
Oopps double post.
But has allowed me to make a correction. I thought you meant the Smart Selection brush but you meant the Smart edge in the Freehand selection tools. Space bar does not work there.
All you have to do is move the cursor near the edge of the image without clicking and the window will auto move in the reverse direction so you can see more of the image in that direction.

Re: Moving zoomed image while selecting
You have already received one reply. But could you please consider updating your profile to provide information about your system and particularly which version of PSP you're using. That helps us to determine whether or not any answer we might have for you would be relevant to your particular setup. And it would tell us whether we even have the version of PSP that you're using that would have the tool you are asking about without us having to post asking for that background info.OldNick wrote:I am using Smart Edge to select an object in a photo. Thanks for the reply. Sorry I have not updated my profile.
I am using PSP 2018. Ask for freehand selection then in the Selection Type dropdown there is Smart Edge as one of the options.
