Hi Newbie here!
Thought it would be fun to start a new project by importing from Corel Fastflick and then building a project from there. I made a quick video in Fastflick and then selected to edit in VideoStudio. VS10U opened and the timeline was automaticallt populated with the Fastflick movie - so far so good. Now I want to continue building my movie and the fist thing I want to do is add a blank black part to the front of the timeline where I can add an overlay title. Every time I take the black graphic and add it to the start of the timeline - the main video track all moves to the right (as it should) but all the rest of the tracks stay where they are. I can't find out how to get ALL tracks to move to the right when I add the graphic (or any other clip come to that). It must be simple, but I can't find it!! Thanks for your help.

Hi Chris
and welcome to the forums
Apply Ripple Editing will keep all overlay tracks in line with top track
Then add your colour clip to the beginning of top track

Brilliant - thanks Trevor - appreciate your fast and helpful reply. It's not working fully - the bulk of the movie is moving, but the first elements on each of the overlay tracks are staying put. No bother though - easy to move those parts - at least all the rest is moving. Thanks again.
