Nature of the problem
I use PaintShop Pro 2018 to design huge banners. To do so, you need to be able to add marks for the usable area etc... A practical tool to do so would be predefined shapes, e.g. rectangles. It is possible to draw rectangles of any size. However it is impossible to set the size of rectangles numerically to more than 10000pixels. This makes rectangles useless for this purpose!
There is a completely useless possibility to have have two (2) digits after the coma - what shall this be good for? A pixel is the smallest unit I can use to specify a rectangle! Isn't it?

Re: BUG: size of rectangle limited to 10'000 pixel
Hello TerraD,
a pixel is the smallest unit of a bitmap image, but not for vectors. While editing them, you can move them 'between' pixels. That is more accurate for the case you want to scale up your image later. But you can change this behavior in the settings/preferences, in the 'Units' tab there is checkbox for 'Snap to center of pixel while moving'.
Since there are bugs with aligning vector objects exactly with the above mentioned setting, I keep it off - so I can manually scale an object to what I need.
Good luck with it,
Ravelli

Re: BUG: size of rectangle limited to 10'000 pixel
TerraD,
you may create a new image :
-> Blank canvass -> Paper -> size A0
Width is 14025 pixels.
When the image is displayed, you may trace manually a rectangle from left to right which is more than 10000 pixels width. It displays 10000 but is greater.
