Ads now take precedence over starting up

Post by tletter »

Corel is now presenting ads that take precedence over VS starting up. So now you must supervise the start up of VS as these ads stop VS from opening until the Corel ad is closed.

Too bad that Corel is forcing more and more ads on VS users.

If the ad in the OP dispalys when launching VS, try this:

In VS, click Settings > Preferences > General tab
Click the drop down list for Default startup page: then select Edit.
Click OK.

Then return to the Menu bar and click Help > Message Preferences and deselect (uncheck) Keep me informed... then click OK.
