Levels Performance

Post by PSPNL »

Hi. Even on my i7 WIndows 10 SSD laptop there is a lag when in levels and I use the sliders to adjust shadows, midtones etc. In Adobe photoshop there is no lag. Anyone else experience this ?

Hi Bruce,
Do you see the image changing as you drag the slider or only after you release the mouse button ? In Photoshop, which is what I am moving from, you see the image change as you drag the slider. Ian

It's not 'real time' as it has a lag. Maybe a 1 second delay. But as soon as you release the mouse button the full results show. I guess it will vary on a number of factors.Hardware and the image being adjusted.

Hi Bruce. Then this is what I see as well. I have a very fast laptop but even on my older laptop there is no lag with Adobe Photoshop so a real shame that there is a delay with PSP 2018.
