Levels Setting - Last Used
Hi. Just started using PSP 2018. If I open an image and make changes via Levels if I then open a second image and select levels again it is always set to "Last Used" which means that the levels settings that were applied to the first image are applied to the second so therefore I have to click on reset every time. Is there a way like in Adobe Photoshop to just open levels without making any changes ? Thanks in advance.

Re: Levels Setting - Last Used
This remembering of last settings is useful for those editing a lot of similar images as the change from one image to to next is almost the same. If it opened in the default every time I would be complaining.
I guess you are editing vastly different images that require large changes in the settings. However even here you do not need to start with the default every time. If it is a change in contrast needed then you may only need to move the middle marker. If it needs a change to the right highlight marker then the amount of movement to the near right of the histogram is just a matter of moving the marker from default right to the point or somewhere near the middle towards the right part of the histogram. The amount of movement (without resetting to default) is minimal.
But to answer your question I doubt there is a setting, but you could do a script that would open and reset to default with one button click.

Clicking Reset is a one click also. How difficult can that be
?

Hi. Indeed its a one click but on my slower laptop its slightly slower opening levels because it is making the change at the same time. Guess its the reset button for me thenTimW wrote:Clicking Reset is a one click also. How difficult can that be?
