Rolling updates for DNG format support

AfterShotPro3 does not at this time support the CR2 file format of the Canon EOS M6. Whilst support for native camera file formats would be ideal failing that can support for the DNG format not be kept current?

If I had to use the Adobe DNG Converter to convert CR2 files to DNG for editing in AfterShotPro that would provide a work around. Unfortunately, whilst DNG Convertor will process the M6 CR2 files AfterShotPro3 will not process the resultant DNG files.

If you are going to keep your product current perhaps you should keep one file format current and perhaps that file format should be DNG.

I would be happy to supply any images files that would help.

Absolutely ! I got a refund for AS Pro 3 because it doesn't support many of Canon's popular mirrorless cameras such as the EOS M100. Unless they are getting out of the Aftershot business, this is silly marketing. If they are dumping AS Pro, they should open source it or provide enough info for nerds to write plugins for other cameras.

I really liked AS more than Canon's Dig. Photo Pro. Too bad I can't use it with my camera.

I did somewhat resent Corel advertising AS Pro for raw processing and not listing either cameras supported or cameras not supported.
When the info said AS Pro processes CR2 files, they were misleading. I lost a bunch of hours purchasing/downloading/installing/trying everything to make it work/requesting a refund.
