It will not be long now!
It looks like VS 11 Pro is just around the corner. They must be in the high beta's by now. I hope they have
added some performance improvements instead more Fancy Dan stuff. Especially, the ability to choose your
program's directory location. Well, we will know soon enough.

Re: It will not be long now!
You appear to be in a rush, be a little patient.
The offer you see is through the program and as such a loyalty offer for existing owners, allowing you to pre order.
You would then receive the program on the official release date, and no we do not know when that will be.
Last year it was in 14th February.
If you visit Corel.com and Video Studio is showing as 10.5 then the new version has not been released

Re: It will not be long now!
Did you choose the Download and Install option, or just the Download option and then you installed it manually? If the latter, did you install Service Pack 1? In Help > About, I get version 21.1.0.89 (also Ultimate 64 bit). The 1 after the 21 indicates SP1 has been installed, and that should have been downloaded with the rest of the program, content and bonus features in your original download.Desertsweeper wrote:VideoStudio Ultimate 2018 64 bit 21.0.0.68 from Help-about
I *did* see 20.0.0.68 on the final screen which appeared once installation had been completed. But on looking at Help > About, as I say I got 21.1.0.89.
If your Help > About really still shows 68, then I would go to the folder put on your desktop during the download/install process, labelled 'VideoStudio2018'. In it you will -- or should -- find a sub-folder labelled Patch. It contains two exe files -- one is VS21.1.0.84 and the other VS21.1.0.89. Since I didn't have to do this I am not sure if you should load 84 then 89, or just 89. But I would try that way first.

Re: It will not be long now!
I just installed VS PRO 11 on two of my computers. In the first install I choose the "Download and Install" option.
It resulted in the 68 version. There was no "Patch" folder. So, I tried installing on another computer using just the "Download" option. The result ended with another 68 version. However, this time there was a "Patch" folder. It contained the "89 Patch.exe" file only, no 84.exe. A "3D Title Editor" folder was also in the "Patch" folder. The installation went smoothly and now I have the correct 89 version.
Therefore, AVOID the "Download and Install" option and select "Download" only. Corel should have caught this one.
Looking forward to getting into it.
