Flast Flick templates from VSX9 to !)

There are a total 11 FastFlick templates available when you "download all" from the website.

The screenshot shows the list of downloaded templates (from "Fair and Square" to "Soft Waves"). After extraction I moved each folder to

..\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel FastFlick\EditingStyle\InstantProject.

only one or two appear in FastFlick list

This whole download/install/use is a complete mess. When you look at the creation date of the files in the folders, you see that they are from 2014 and 2015.

You show copying the folders to 32 bit, is that correct, and using the CorelFastFlick folder, I could not find that

When you download all, was that a link from Corel, or my one drive?

I managed to get the 8 templates showing in Fastflick, but one did not work.
Will try again tomorrow

Hi Trevor,

that FastFlick folder only shows up in the 32bit VS version (ie. Program Files (x86). I downloaded from Corel.

Actually I am totally confused by this whole FastFlick function. I have 2 versions on the system: one appears as part of VS17(VSX7) but is in the VSX9 folder and the other in the VSX10 folder is VS20.

The actual FastFlick application is called MWizard.exe

It is time to scrap all of Corel and start over.

In the Welcome Tab for VSX9 under the Get More tab are two free Instant Project Templates, Positive Vib Template, containing 10 unique templates and Wedding Template, containing 6 templates, these I have let VS install, but they do not show within any category of Instant Projects, neither do they appear in the VSPTemplate folder. There are 10 Wedding templates which are showing but cannot ascertain whether these include the 6 from the Get More tab or whether they are an additional 6 templates. Unable to find any reference to Positive Vib templates. Has anyone else installed these 2 free templates and if so, do they appear anywhere.

I think we are comparing apples and oranges if we keep on talking about templates for VS? and those for FastFlick. To me they are separate templates.

True, but there appears to be some difficulty identifying which templates are FastFlick and which are Instant Project, some of the packages Ken mentioned as being downloaded for FastFlick are, according to the Get More tab Instant Projects, so yes we are all confused

Then we have the Photo Parade Slideshow template which is supposed to be included free in VSX9 for FastFlick, does anyone actually have it installed?

The two free packs Wedding and Vibes do install to:-
C:\Users\Trevor\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPTemplate
And show in the instant Projects library.
The wedding pack is also available in FastFlick, at least I thought so, Hmmmm, not so sure now?
Can be a little difficult to locate as they are saves among the rest and not in their own folder.
May take a while to confirm they are all there.
Some of the free IP’s use Smart Sound, so are quite old, as X10 does not support SS the clip shows as Black and White, but easy to delete. But then they are free, would work ok with X7

As for Kens templates I have managed to get 8 working in Fast Flick with 6 showing in IP.
I do not have the Kaleidoscope or Colouring Book files.
So if you have those zips can you PM me with a link to download. Thanks.

Have checked over and over again, comparing each template with the templates shown for Positive Vibe and whilst I have installed that template package, none of them appear in the Instant Project library
The Wedding Template package does seem to have installed in the IP library some of the templates shown in the package, but nothing in FastFlick

I will purge my IP and FF templates, empty the VSP template folder to leave only the default as installed templates.

Then install the two packs to see where they go?

The Positive Vibes installed these folders to the VSPTemplates as below
There are 10 templates showing in the Beginning (start) and Ending library
All are Instant Projects not FastFlick

All show In IP Custom
Non are FastFlick Templates
