ParticleShop $19.99 installed - no additional packs/brushes

Post by iraisok »

Help!
I have PaintShopPro 2018 Ultimate bundle. It came with ParticleShop - Core and Exclusive packs. I observed the Webinar. At home page of PSP, was offered ParticleShop for $19.99. I expected to see many more packs with more brushes. Nothing more got installed. In fact during the installation of the stub file and the install option from PSP home, it starts off with the REPAIR or REMOVE dialog. I sort of thought that was because it had some part of the product installed but I expected to have lots more when done.

So, must I first select REMOVE then install? If yes, will I see the Core and Exclusive packs plus more on reinstall?

Gee, I expected this to be a no brainer especially after seeing the install on the webinar and from my experience of other items from PSP home.

Help! or must I man and groan to Corel?

Tnx,
Ira

Having purchased ParticleShop in the past, I can only say that the Core and Exclusive brush packs are the two packs the come with the purchase of the product. Unless you were promised something specifically as part of the purchase you made with Paint Shop Pro, you will have to purchase any of the other brush packs separately.

BTW... I did get a popup the other day that Corel is now running a promotion on the brush packs.

At this point, I must ask WHY I was offered to PURCHASE the SAME two that was/is installed when for other items they'd report (at least for the free ones) to INSTALL them if not installed? Yes, I am in the process of getting a refund so no problem but I suggest that the s/w that detects what is installed "AIN'T WORKING PROPERLY".

Also, it would have been nice if the item said what was included. I would not have made the purchase but again, the s/w should have simply said "INSTALLED."

So, yes, Corel is refunding my $19.99 but there must be other folks with the same issue.

Tnx,
Ira
