Trying to register Corel Painter Essentials 4.

Post by SyncroScales »

Hello,

I did a re-install on an old machine. I wanted to register the Corel Painters Essentials 4 that came with PSPPX3. Can I do that? Should I move this thread to the Painter forum?

The prompt came up when I installed it, but I cannot get it to appear again.

Thanks.

Have you checked your account in Corel.com to see if Painter Essentials is already registered there (if in fact you registered it with PSP X3)? That is where you need to register in any case.

I don't have Painter Essentials 3 but I do have Essentials 5 which came with a later version of PSP (X7?)... I just checked in my account in Corel.com (go to that website and click the small Sign In button in the top right of screen). I found a little to my surprise that Essentials 5 was NOT registered though I usually do that as part of the installation process. But at the top of the Registered Products list there is another button which takes you to a page where you can register other Corel products. It just requires the product's serial number and language. The serial number of course can be found in Essential 3's Help > About.

Anyway, my Essentials 5 is now in my Registered Products list!
