Hi,
besides having the application crashing frequently I have currently the problem, that I am just not able to export two specific photos. If I start an export (any option, I tested serveral configurations, from full resolution to small resolutions), it just takes forever. Both images have comparable high resolutions, because they are orginally stiched to a panorama. However, the application should either return with an error or best, just do the job.
I have uploaded the original images and my corrections xmp files here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/aupfvmc8btgck ... t.rar?dl=0
Please respect the copyright of the photos.
Can anyone reproduce it?
@Corel: Could you please debug this, should be pretty easy to see what causes the problem, if it is reproducable.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Re: Export just hanging up on specific high resolution photo
Hi Chris
I've just tried it on Aftershot Pro 2 under Windows 10 and both photos were exported without problems. I don't have access to Aftershot Pro 3 so unable to test the current version.
Hope that's useful,
Demetris

Re: Export just hanging up on specific high resolution photo
I tried it on the newest ASP 3 on Linux (Ubuntu 14.4 LTS) - not working!
I had that problem too with some big panoramas of my own.
I noticed that "jpg Fullsize" (JPG-Vollbild) is not working but jpg-contactsheet (JPG-Korrekturbogen) works!
So ASP seems to be able to process but has problems with fullsize ...

Re: Export just hanging up on specific high resolution photo
Thanks Hannes and Demetris for testing.
I can also now confirm that I have the same problem on another Computer with Linux and AfterShot Pro 3. My initial test was on Windows 10 and AfterShot Pro 3. Both computer have plenty of RAM >=12GB and should be fast enough for processing.
The resolution cannot be the only problem, I have already exported other panoramas with even higher resolution.
@Corel: Can you please create a bug report for you development team? Or where do I have to do this?
Kind regards
Christopher

but - I had the experience that they do noting ...
even simple things are not solved - for example - they say that the nikon coolpix P330 is supported - but color and contrast are totally wrong - I do the following: with exiftool say that the nikon coolpix P330 files are nikon coolpix P7800 files - and everything is fine - reported this at several channels (about 2 years ago) - but noting happend - so I still run exiftool ...
so I wish you the best ...

Re: Export just hanging up on specific high resolution photo
Thanks for the link. I just send this problem there.
Too sad that they do not work on this, I could easily do it myself, but then they would have to release the source code!
