I am using VS X10 Ultimate and I am trying to figure out how to easily save multiple clips from from the timeline. I can save individual clips (by selecting the clip, then File > Save Trimmed Video) but saving multiple clips one by one is just taking too much time.
What I am trying to do is cut a long video to multiple small clips, and then save all those clips as separate files - in other words, splitting one ~2h long video to 150 or so clips (each 5-10 sec in length).
If I select more than one clip, the option of 'Save Trimmed Video' is no longer available. Since the trimming properties are saved when a clip is moved to the Library, I thought I could somehow create files by moving each clip to the library first and then saving from there but that does not seem to be the solution either. 'Save multiple trimmed videos' feature, or even a keyboard shortcut, would help but it seems like those are not available. Any new ideas would be much appreciated!

Why you want to split the file into 150 individual files?

Re: Saving multiple trimmed clips
Hi
Sorry I do not know of a way to render a batch of individual clips.
As far as I know you will have to use Save Trimmed Video on each trimmed clip.
