Hello,
How can i find out what the size of a selection is, in order to make a canvas for it and save it as a seperate file? Or even better, tell PSP to make a canvas the size of the selection at once?
Thank you!
All the best,
Bassie Kwassie

Re: size selection
When you create a New image, PSP offers the choice for the format if you select Photo or Paper.
This will give you the size in pixels.
The print bureau should give you the files specifications (DPI/PPI, pixels, RVB, etc.)

Re: size selection
Also, if you copy the selection to the clipboard PSP has a "Paste as New Image" option that will paste that portion as a new image so the new image is the size of the selection. It's also possible to automatically crop an image down to the selection. Shortcut key Shift + R.
But if you wanted a single button method that would require a script. Nothing fancy it could be as simple as recording two commands "Copy" and "Paste as New Image" or as complicated as actually grabbing the selection rectangle and using the new image command to make a new image exactly that size. Both are relatively simple, one just takes a bit more work.
