VS X10 Keyboard navigation through video timeline

When in a timeline there does not seem to be a way to use the keyboard to arrow accross to your stopping point. I can only find a way to use the mouse to click to point then click again to back up...
What I am trying\wanting to do is is locate section of video select it and play it back... then use the arrows to fine tune the selections.

I know I can use the cut and place a second cut, but what if I want to hear the section before I cut - How do I select a small selection across all channels for preview?

unfortunately VS has very poor shortcuts tools
But you have two other options

or click on any of the numbers in that digital clock then click the up/down arrows to move 1 hour - or 1 minute - or 1 second - or 1 frame per click

SHFT up/down arrow will move the cursor one frame at a time
