Bug?: Source manager opens instead of mult-cam editor

my new videostudio ultimate x10

After importing three video files and one audio file, when I click on multi-camera editing icon
the source manager opens and I can't get the mult-camera window to open...???? I've looked
in tools and tried to open mult-cam editor from there..no luck.

No it is not a bug - you are doing it wrong

do not put your videos in the Videostudio timeline

open the Multi-cam editor - which will open the source manager to allow you to add your videos to the tracks in there

when you have finished in there click OK and you will go back to Videostudio with the videos inserted

My video is not on the timeline they are in the Library. I'm following the training video provided by StudioBackLot.
they say hi-lite the videos in the library and then click the multi-camera icon. Those video's are supposed to open
inside the multi-camera window so you can edit on the fly between those videos. Every time I do this, hi-lite
the videos and then click on the multi-camera icon, the source manager opens. The video's are there. check.
but when I close the source manager there is no open multi-camera editor windwo to multi-camera edit....

The one thing I didn't see you do after you returned to Videostudio with your files highlighted in the library panel was to click the multi camera editing icon again - have you tried that ?

Very Strange
I normally select the clips in the library, right click the selection for MCE
That opens the Source Manager
Make sure my main video is in camera 1, as that determines the frame rate of MCE
Then press OK button at the bottom

MCE opens in a new panel.

When you say you close the manager, I assume you hit OK and not the “X”

I'm not able to click an "okay button"....the source manager window opens and
can NOT be resized. The only way I can close it is to click on the red X.....

Hi

First I think the panels should be sizable, that would help.

What is the resolution of your monitor and have you adjusted that from 100% to use 125%

If so can you try 100%

try pressing the keyboard return / enter button

fortunately this panel can be resized for you to see the buttons sitting on the bottom.

THANK you Trevor....! as usual the source manager opens when I click on multi-camera editor
and I can't resize the window to be able to click on an okay button....so I tried your "press the
enter button" and that worked. Immediately the source window changed into the multi-cam
edit window......thanks again...this is workable..!!

Can you confirm if you have set your monitor display to 125%
and what is the size of your monitor?
