Hello,
I want to buy a new monitor for my linux system. The model I am interested in has a WQHD resolution of 2560×1440 (27").
For linux using KDE desktop I can adjust font sizes very easily but I seems that AftershotPro does not change its own eg menu font as well.
So what I would like to know if there is someone using WQHD resolution with Aftershot and if menus, labels, etc are still readable then? At the moment I have a monitor with a resolution of 1920*1200 and in ASP the settings "user smaller fonts" is turned off. The font sizes are ok for me with this configuration. Any experiences with a 2560×1440 configuration?
Another way to solve potentially too small fonts in ASP would be a way to enlarge them, by any kind of setting. Does anyone know if there is a way to enlarge fonts for ASP on linux?
Thanks you very much
Rainer

I use ASP 3.3 on WQHD 27" screen and am happy with font size, proportionally much like 1900x1080

Hello,
thank you very much hannes_hab and georgejkw for your answers. In between I have my new monitor, a Benq PD2700Q with a resolution of 2560x1440 and the font sizes have become a little bit smaller but its still ok to work with ASP in this setup.
Have a nice day
Rainer

If you suffer from too small menu fonts on HiDPI monitors, it helps to set the environment variable QT_SCALE_FACTOR = 1.5 (the value can be changed). The easiest way is to insert the line "export QT_SCALE_FACTOR = 1.5" into the aftershot start script /usr/bin/AfterShot3X64.

I read the full QT blog for this:
https://blog.qt.io/blog/2016/01/26/high ... in-qt-5-6/
For me it does not work, allthough I have QT 5.6. I'll try again when I updated my distribution (openSuSE 42.3) to the latest level which is leap15.
Thanks
Rainer
