Time Remapping changes my aspect ratio

Time Remapping changes my aspect ratio
I'm still having the same issue with Video Studio Ultimate 2019. When I use Time Remapping on a clip it changes my aspect ratio so that my clip appears in a small box surrounded by black. I can use "keep aspect ratio (no letterbox)" to get a full screen image again, but when I save that image and move on then come back later, the clip has disappeared. When I try to relink it, Corel can't find it, and the clips shown under Samples are the full scenes and not the edited clip I used time remapping on. Suggestions?
