Video Studio Ultimate x10 doesn't start on Windows 10 v.1709

Hello

My VS used to work properly on Windows 8 and early versions of Windows 10. Now, it only shows the pop up screen for 1 or 2 minutes and then it disapears and nothing else happens ( HDD lights keep turned off).

Tried uninstall and reinstall (with and without plugins) but problem persists.

Tried to run in Compatibility mode ( Windows 8 and 7) and as Administrator , nothing helped.

Tested the Live Screen Capture app, and it is working ok.

( Also installed the VSX10_SP1 and VSX10.5_Update and nothing changed )

What else I colud try ??

I am running 1709 and VS 10 without problems
When you re-installed did you remove all personal data?

You could try resetting the program by renaming the 20.0 folder

Hi again

Tried that folder reset tip, and didnt work. ( When I run VS again, I see some HDD activity, and I see another new folder ( 20.0) being made, but nothing else happens. After 30 seconds, the pop up VS window closes

Tried Uninstall , then applied the VSX10 Cleanup tool, then installed again ... error persists.

I will try re-install with some secondary option or plugin deactivated.

We do not work for Corel, your best option may be to Contact Corel support, the Chat Line option seems the quickest way.

I wonder if it’s a registration issue with an internet connection.
Try running the program with the internet disconnected, if the program is not registered then you may not get far, although you should get an option to register later or by phone, as far as I know the program should eventually run.

One other thing to try, create a new User Account, then try installing the program using that account.
I would install the main program only till you are able to run the program.
