Hello, my VS freezes when I'm trying to open any files. I tried running it with administrator rights but it didn't help. I also tried to open a file located on pendrive - same thing.
Have any of you encountered a similar problem? Thanks in advance...

When you say open do you mean inserting the file to the library or timelines?MSmith76 wrote:Hello, my VS freezes when I'm trying to open any files. I tried running it with administrator rights but it didn't help. I also tried to open a file located on pendrive - same thing.

File Open -- would open a project file
Right Click the timeline for Insert options
When you say any file, do you have problems inserting a Jpeg Image to the timeline.
I assume you are having issues with a video file. what type of video file are you trying to use.

It would be useful to know what version of Video Studio you are using and whether you have ever been able to open files with it. I think there may be compatibility problems between recent versions and Vista which you say you are still using.
