Hello,
since years I could create a vektor text, copy the object into the clipboard and insert it again as vector object. This no longer works with PSP 2018. In the moment I hit the Ctrl key the cursor turns into a red "unallowed" sign.
Is this a bug or is there something I make wrong? (I work with PSP since 10 years)
Thanks for help,
Joe

Re: Cannot copy vector text into the clipboard
With 2018 I can :
1. Load a document / image.
2. Select the text tool and type in some text - adjust the text color and size. Then do Control A to select all that text , then either do Control C or Right click > Copy to copy the text to the clip board. I then click the Apply button for the text .
3. I can then click a new position in the document and either Right Click > Paste or Control V and the text from the clipboard is pasted at that point.
Is that what you are doing?

Re: Cannot copy vector text into the clipboard
I can confirm that.
In previous versions(like PSP X) you could copy a vector object(CTRL+C) and then paste as new vector selection again and again with CTRL+G to quickly multiply an object.
In PSP2018 the menu item is still there, but sometimes it works once and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Neither with the menu item nor with CTRL+G
If it works a new vector layer with a new vector object ist pasted BUT it should be only a new object without the layer.
Unfortunately only one of the annoying bugs...
Just noticed: you have to first deselect the vector object then select it again and then paste it! (but still new layers)
