i am taping shows off of tv and was wondering is there a way I can cut out the commercials and still leave the file in tact with dvdws 2.0. or can I even hide the chapter? I am fairly new to the program so any help is appriciated.

It is possible but a little clumsy. You put your file n times in the title list and trim each part you want as per p. 64 of the manual. This means you will have n titles, which you will have to link in the playlist so that they will play consecutively from the first one.
Better is to use an editor (VS9 or MSP7), cut out the unwanted parts and re-render into a single file to take into WS2.
