Re: VS ultimate x10 wont startup
Hi smeogan
I do not have the Art Effects plugin so cannot really test this.
Are you able to uninstall “art effects” I assume it will show in Program and Features.
You can also try resetting the program by re-naming the folder 20.0 to “20.0 copy”
A new folder will be created when running Video Studio, the copy could be used if you wish to revert the reset.
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\20.0
Others on the forum may have installed that pack hopefully to comment here.
A long shot, maybe try running the program as Administrator? (right click the desktop icon for that option.)

Re: VS ultimate x10 wont startup
Hi smeogan
I had a problem with a NewBlue plug-in. Now, I cannot rember what the problem was, or which plug-in. I think it was NB Video Essentials VI.
Anyway a couple of things to try:
1 Uninstall the NewBlue Art Effect plugin. Right click the Windows icon bottom left, select Settings>Apps>Scroll down to find the NewBlue Art Effect plugin to uninstall.
If that does not work:
2 Unistall VSX10 and use the cleanup tool at the top of this forum, posted by lata. Re-install, running VSX10 before installing NB plugins just to make sure that is what caused the problem initially.
My problem was only cured by a complete rewind of my setup using a previously saved image of my boot drive. My current setup has the NewBlue Art Effect (Trial Version) installed in VSX10 Ultimate with no apparent problems.
