Paint Shop Pro X9 not working in Windows 10 1709

Hello,

I just purchased and installed Paint Shop Pro X9 as part of the pinnacle studio bundle. Everything installs fine. The issue is when open in the software I can select in all areas but over the open image. It never changes in the cross like it should to start to paint, fill, etc. Even if I open one of the box images and hover over it, it does not allow me to click.

Any advice? Used to use paintshop pro heavily and was excited to get part of the pinnacle studio but cannot even click on image...frustrating.

It certainly works properly in my own X9 under Win 10 1709 and fully updated. The first thing I would try would be to reset PSP (hold down the Shift key when you click on the desktop icon to open it). Make sure you save any customized workspace first...

Didn't work for me either. Thought it such a great tip and I did save my workspace :D

Been working with Paint Shop Pro support for few days without resolve. Ran uninstaller and cleanup utility then reinstalled under a new local admin account with the same behavior. ANyone else having these issues? Corel do you HEAR us?

Just so you know, this is a User to User group, and not a group that Corel officially monitors in any way. To make sure they are aware of your issue you have to either contact their support (which is not always that great) and/or post your issue on their Facebook page where it will at least get more attention from them.
