Drag & Drop Settles in Another Project!! No Kidding!

Post by Muriel »

Good Afternoon!

I am royally puzzled here, having run into the most bizarre issue.

Two or more Paint Shop Pro images are open in PSP X9 on Windows 10.1, each with several layers. I wish to drag and drop an image into one of them. It didn't work after several attempts, so I copy/paste it instead. A short while later, I noted that the image had installed itself - several times - into the second PSP image rather than the one that was open and into which I had struggled to drop it. Or, it may attach itself as superfluous layers to an image with only one layer.

This is not a huge deal, just very, very puzzling, so I thought I would run it by the folks who hang out here and who are smarter than I am!

Well... Hello Again!

GUESS WHAT! I solved this! Seems there were two images open with the same name.. in this latest case, Image 7. The image destined to become a layer in one of the Image 7's chose to attach itself to the other even though it was tucked away in the corner of my screen. I still find it curious that it didn't just drop where I tried to put it.

Gotta love this technology!

Anyway, I just thought i would throw this out there in case someone else runs into the same issue..

Muriel!
