Nice one Pete
I assume that was from a popup message from Video Studio and not the link provided by Tony
My X9 is giving that offer, it is a good offer.

And I'm getting the offer repeatedly from a pop-up in the bottom right of screen, and I haven't even opened a Corel program as yet! But yes, the prices for VS and other Corel programs are good.

I am also getting this pop-up and I find it unacceptable since I was not asked if this was OK and I find no way to stop them from happening. Should I report this as a bug?

I have deleted that folder before, asik, and have done so once again. But a new one is established automatically and eventually populated with other ads!

And, horror of horrors, I am now getting a very similar looking and sounding ad in exactly the same place on screen, but now it's from Cyberlink (and yes, I have the latest version of Power Director and recent versions from the past few years!!) Aaarrrgggghhhh! But I am far from slitting my wrists over it...

Instead of deleting the CUH folder, Rename the CUH.EXE file to something like CUHcrap.EXE. Then Copy another file, like UH02.dta, and paste it. Then rename the copied file to CUH.EXE

I think this is how to kill the beast

I had just closed X9 and up popped an offer from Corel for 2018 at a ridiculous price of £21.99. As it is on Amazon at £76 or so, well, you have to go for it.. A couple of hours later and 2018 is up and running, along with the New Blue Fx Plugin Paint Fx. Moved all the menu templates over to 2018 from X9 and all are showing just fine in 2018. What a bargain!!
