Re: sync subs
Hi
Movie Subtitle files .SRT are created adjacent to and in sync with the associated video file.
If you insert the video then open the associated srt the titles will be in sync, or should be in sync if the srt was created correctly.
You can also open the subtitle editor then Import the associated SubTitle file, although I think it may be as easy on the main timelines.
Once we open a srt to timeline the title clips we see are no different to other title clips.
If we have to re-align, that has to be done individually, although we can select all or adjacent clips and move the selection in one go.

Re: sync subs
1)i mean if the sync is not match 100% can i resync with any way?is there any tool-option?or must do it manually sub by sub?
2)how can i move the selection in one go?
3)also how works exactly voice detection?is an alternative way and a ''smarter'' way to insert subs?a friend of mine told me that is preferable , because it sync subs with clip's voice.so should i prefer it?
4) do you know any other software specialised for synchronization?

Re: sync subs
Hi
If all title clips are misaligned
Click the first clip to select, Shift + Click the last clip will select all, now drag that selection along the timelines.
As I said Sub titles are created in sync with a video file.
If you insert the video to the top timeline
Then from the Text editor choose Open Sub Title file it will place all text in line and in sync, if the subtitle file has been created correctly.
Otherwise create a new STR using the SubTitle Editor.
As for other software, sorry I do not use SRT’s so have no need for other software.
I think I understand how Video Studio uses SRT’s.
The editor syncs voices to create a subtitle, it cannot sync Sub Titles to voice, if that makes sense.

Re: sync subs
Hi
Sub Titles are created and synced to a video file.
If you have both files, the Video and Subtitle you should be able to sync using Video Studio.
Insert the video to the top track, right click for Subtitle Editor
To the top of the editor is an option to Import SubTitle File, choose your SRT file
That will open the titles in sync with the video.
If you wish you can edit the text.
Choosing OK will return to the timelines with your video and associated titles
This will only work if the sub Title files has been created from the video file.
If this does not work then your only option is to manually align the titles.
