Welcome to the forum!
Before we can come up with answers we need to know what the properties of the problem videos are. Please right click on one of them either in the VS timeline or library window, and copy ALL of its Properties here, or take a screen shot of the Properties box and upload it here as an Attachment.
Can you also tell us where the videos came from? I ask because Video Studio has trouble with videos from some recent smartphones which use variable frame rates. VS prefers videos with standard frame rates such as 25 fps, 29.97/30 fps, 50 fps or 60 fps which are set by international standards.
