Pen Tool Curve Tracking size disabled?

Not sure why this is happening but I often use Bezier curves to draw arrows on my architectural sketches. In fact I customized and created/saved one that makes the arrow head narrower and called it CAD arrow. However, the tracking/size option is disabled on ALL line styles. It is currently locked on 10. Why would that be?
