Hello:
I just downloaded my copy of PSPX8 to a new computer with Windows 10. I also downloaded the script guide, creative content, and kpt. I am now using the 64 bit version of PSPX8.
I tried to install the kpt files via the "file location" instructions. But PSP ignores them. The tab still is grayed out and reads "no plugins loaded."
I reinstalled the kpt files, put them in a different location and tried several times to install them, with no results. I tried putting them on D drive, then on c drive. The file is listed, but the program cannot see it.
What could i be missing?

the KPT plug-ins are 32 bit software, and so they'll only work with the 32 bit version of PSP.

Re: PSPX8 not finding kpt files
When you install X8 (and X9 and PSP 2018) you are offered the option of installing both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. This is the recommended option, precisely to cover the situation you are in. Many plug-ins only come in 32 bit versions, and as Trilliana has said, 32 bit plug-ins won't work -- and don't even show -- in 64 bit programs. So if you have the 32 bit version of PSP also installed, you should be able to see the KPT plug-ins there.
