X10 Ultimate Another Crash

Post by MrJohnny »

While trying to assist a fellow VS user (john 4647) determine why he is experiencing crashes I have found a similar problem I did not know I was having (makes sense?)

https://1drv.ms/f/s!At5GXW4AVB0ijTWzyTsY4DHL2Wd1

The attached link should allow you to download my vsp and accompanying mp4 file. Would be grateful to anyone prepared to try and report back. My system locks up if I cut the mp4 clip anywhere in the "orange" area, then try to open up the Graphics menu (the one with the flower icon).
Note, it is the mp4 clip to cut(split) not the original orange graphic that appears first on the timeline.

The mp4 file was originally exported from X10 Ult while trying to correct a proDad Filter anomally.

Hi John,

I split your sample, with the scissors at the 26 second mark, which is in the orange area, I think that is what you wanted us to do, then opened the Graphics menu, everything appears to be working, no lockups

FWIW I also had no problem in cutting the mp4 part of the project, then opening the graphics window. X10 is still working, sitting and waiting for my next command...

Hi guys

Thank you trying that. I'm having problems booting my main computer, so it maybe related to that problem.

Thanks again

OK, after a restore to a previously saved image, VS X10 Ult seems to be working as expected. So I conclude some download/update had corrupted something. Presumably X9 the same.
