Hi, All
I've tried and tried to get the plugins to work.
I appreciate all the time and effort that you have all expended on my behalf.
I did the only thing left I could think of (that I remembered had worked a couple of years ago) and that was to un-install and re-install the program.
But, unfortunately, that didn't work either.
I have given up. I'll just have to use 2018 to do the effects.
