Any Material That I upload Into Corel Is Pixelated. Help!
I am uploading videos into the program and the they are decent quality before I put them in there, after I upload them into the program they become extremely pixelated. I am using "Corel videostudio X 8 - 18.6.0.6 (64 bit ultimate)" I am new to this program and really need help. I attached some pics of before and after photos. Thanks Andrew

Hi crayonredd
And welcome to the forums
You need to give us more information regarding the files and your project properties.
First go to Settings – Project Properties, what are they?
If you wish you can make an image of that panel and attach to your post, otherwise copy and paste the text in the properties panel to your post.
Now add one of your clips to the timeline, right click and choose properties, what are they?, again create an image, or type in the details.
For your video files, the program can match the project properties to the video.
Go to Settings – Preferences ( F6) tick the option Show Messages when inserting first video.
You will need to start a new project, the insert a video to the top timeline.
You should get a window prompting you to match the project properties.
This works for many formats but not all, hopefully will work with your video files.

Re: Any Material That I upload Into Corel Is Pixelated. Help
First of all I want to thank you so much for being patient with me and trying to help me. I am extremely grateful! So I did what you said and it worked with most of my videos (seeing as how im using video from different places.) Most I recorded but some I got as stock footage off of the internet. One in particular is a logo animation for my non profit organization, that is the image that you are seeing pixelated and that is he effected one that I need to figure out what to do. This is going on tv and needs to be perfect...
Project properties:
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1280 x 720, 24.933 fps
Frame-based
H.264 Main Profile Video: 1582 Kbps, 16:9
44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 1 Kbps

First of all thank you very much for being patient with me and replying to my message. I appreciate the guidance so much! I did what you said about ticking and the box and worked for most all of the video clips accept one which is the most important one, it´s the video animation for my non profit organization. This is going on TV so the logo has to shine brightly. I will post the properties one in an attachment and the other by text below, thank you. If there is anything you can do to help me solve this problem I would be greatly appreciative, you have no idea! Thanks!

Hi
I was about to delete your second post as being a duplicate but the properties you show for your project properties appear to be different in each post? I am confused especially with the various formats.
If you are using still images then you should make sure they are large enough, as in their resolution.
If you are intending to make a 1920 x 1080 video, then your images should be 1920 x 1080, or a similar size.
Your video may be using a variable frame rate, especially created with Iphones or tablets, downloads from the internet could be anything from poor to very good quality. Variable frame rates can be difficult to edit.
Please right click each of your video files (from the timeline) choose properties what are they?
As you are making a video for the TV, what format / type of video are you trying to create?

Re: Any Material That I upload Into Corel Is Pixelated. Help
Very sorry about that I didn't know that each reply had to be approved so I thought something went wrong and I posted another one. I played with the properties a bit and I decided to put the video in the format of the main video (the video that I actually shot). All the other scenes that come in are snippets from the internet and are only in the shot for a few seconds. I will put the properties of all of the videos if this helps you. I am having a lot off trouble putting pics here so I will have to do it all singly with one post at a time im really sorry. So more will be coming. There is one attached here.
This is the project properties (I put it to match the video that I shot)
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1280 x 720, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
H.264 Main Profile Video: 2500 Kbps, 16:9
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 256 Kbps
Btw I´m not using any still images, nothing from iphone or tablet. This is just the intro for a show we are making to help the people in here in Ecuador where I live now. This intro will be used for every show we make.

Hi
I am struggling reading the word doc files.
If you use keyboard Alt+ PrtSc it will copy the active window to the clipboard.
Paste that to an image editor to save a jpeg image, attach that to your post.
You may be best in uploading a video sample to a sharing site, google drive, One Drive, DropBox etc. post a sharing link to your post.
The guys can download the sample to view its quality.
Viewing the word doc do show the data rate pretty low at 90kpbs when we would expect 15000kbps, the low data rate will impact on quality.
