Video Studio X10 no sound

Post by ecaray »

Editor all of a sudden muted the sound and I cannot turn it back on. This has nothing to do with sound editing. I just need to hear the videos to be able to edit them. All videos that worked fine before still works but without any sound at all. Completely muted. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling but it's still the same. What am I missing? My computer sound is fine by the way just the X10 won't play any sound whatsoever even the videos I edited in past with it.

Hi
and welcome to the forums

You seem to indicate that your video files played ok with sound in the past, is this correct?
From the library, are you able to play the audio samples?

With X10 open. Right click on the speaker icon and then Open Volume Mixer. Check the column with Corel VideoStudio has the volume slider up towards the middle.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
