Have a few short clips and when trying to import into the timeline or library x10 freezes by the 3rd file?
Ultimately want to upload to YouTube and share.
1980 and 30 fps no problems.

Guessing 4K files have something VS can't handle. Try to convert them using some converter program like Format Factory. Just convert them to 4K mp4 with the same properties; Format Factory output files are handled by VS just fine.

Curious about this. Is there a way to get a short sample of this type of footage in the cloud to test?
You say by the 3rd file, it freezes. I am assuming that if you import say 2 files, it does not freeze?
