Time Remapping in x10
Is there any way to edit a time remapping once you press OK?

Re: Time Remapping in x10
Hi
Yes it does seem so....
I have not used Time Remapping, it took me a while to understand what was going on.
After applying the various speeds/ reverse etc. Press OK we are taken back to the timelines.
The clip showing there has been replaced with a VSP, effectively nesting the VSP as a single clip.
The library also contains the same VSP, if we right click the clips we can select Time Remapping again, this opens the editor showing the individual clips allowing us to continue editing.
If we were to drag the library VSP to the timeline (Timeline View) the project file would open not as a single clip but in an expanded editable format allowing us to see each clip. We can identify and modify the edits applied to each clip Variable Speed, Reverse etc.
That is as far as I have been so far.

Re: Time Remapping in x10
Thanks very much for your reply. For some reason this didn't come to my email.
If I remove the TimeRemapping01.vsp from the timeline and then drag down TimeRemapping01.vsp (same name), I see the separate sections.
If I right-click and choose Time Remapping on any of the sections the speed shows 100, the Ease In and out boxes are no longer checked, etc. If I check the Ease In box then yet another remapping clip appears, called TimeRemapping02.vsp. Now things are getting complicated...
I don't get what kinds of edits are possible on a Time Remapping and how to do it? It's pretty hard to get it right the first time..........
Thanks very much for your thoughts.

Re: Time Remapping in x10
Hi Steve
I have modified your profile to show notifications with post replies, you can change that from your UserControlPanel
And there should be an option when sending posts.
I am on holiday at the moment so do not have video studio program to view and test.
As far as I know the Time Remapping is saves as a vsp, that is added to the timeline as a single clip, fright click that and we should be able to open the Remapping to continue our editing
We can also add the same vs from the library in its expanded view that allows us to view each clip, so if you have applied Reverse a separate clip will show that, we can then edit that section, removing the reverse, or simply deleting the clip.
As I say I am not at my pc to test the process, hopefully other forum guys can check for you.
You could of course simply cut your video into smaller clips, then apply Speed, VariableSpeed, Freeze Frame, and reverse to each clip, effectively applying Time Remapping without creating the vsp file

Re: Time Remapping in x10
It's weird but I was able to edit a time remapping while working on my personal laptop but not while working from my company laptop. FYI, my Windows Desktop is on a network share at work, and I'm pretty sure that's why VideoStudio x10 crashes very frequently on my work computer.
