Pen tool: break handles?

Post by whatdoiknow »

Hello, I have been using GIMP for some time and I switched to PSP X9 recently.
I normally use the pen tool to make selections and there is something I cannot manage to do.
Is there a way to break the handles like in this image?

It's usually simple but I can't't find how to do it in PSP.
I tried the manual but there's no mention of it.

Thank you very much.

It's not as smooth as say in the GIMP or other vector editing tools. Once you've created your node, right-click on it and select Node Type -> Cusp. Make sure you're drawing with the bezier curves mode and not the polyline mode. If you draw with the poly line mode then they are already cusps but you need to convert them to curves by right-clicking and going to Node Type -> Curve Before and then Node Type -> Curve After.

One of many areas we have in the wishlist of improvements.
