Hi
I wonder if someone can help me please!
I have Eye candy 4000 installed in my PSP9 & I am trying to use Chrome settings then in the Reflection Map box select Blue Sky (as screenshot attached).
I have looked into ‘my psp files – plugins - Eye candy 4000 - Reflection Maps’ folder and it has blue sky in there (as screenshot attached).
Does anyone know why my Reflection Map box is empty?
Thanks for anyone's help on this matter!
Julie

Which version of PSP are you using -- 32 or 64 bit? If 64 bit, then I think you will find that Eye Candy is a 32 bit plug-in which will not show up in the 64 bit version.

They're using PSP9 not X9. You can tell by the screenshot. So it's only 32-bit. Also the plugin runs, it just fails to find and list the available images. After that point I can't tell you why this is happening. I don't use PSP9 or Eye Candy.

Re: Eye candy 4000 - Reflection Maps - Blue Sky not show in
Hi Ken
I have 64 bit computer windows 7 professional.
My PSP is 9 the very old version.
In my PSP 9 I don't have 64 or 32 bit option.
I tried it also in my PSP 2018 Ultimate 32 bit that I bought few days ago & it don't work in there either.
It comes up the same in eye candy 4000 my Reflection Map box is empty?
Help, I'm stuck, thanks!

Re: Eye candy 4000 - Reflection Maps - Blue Sky not show in
On my system, Eye Candy 4000 is installed in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X9\PlugIns\EN\Eye Candy 4000" folder, which is where PSP X9 is generally looking for all of its plugins. If you have yours installed in a different folder, make sure you have added that folder to PSP's File - Preferences - File Locations - Plug-ins, which hopefully will fix your problem.

Hi theavy
Thanks for trying to help solve this problem.
Mine is located: C:\Eye Candy 4000 which I have now added my file location as C:\Eye Candy 4000 as per your suggestion above but no still not finding the 'Reflection Maps’.
What file type should the 'blue sky' be?
I have attached 2 pictures so you can see the type of files its showing up in my folder, are the file types correct?
HEADS-UP:
In my PSP 9 very old version not PSPX9.
Thanks & I will await your reply!

I can't speak to PSP9 because I don't have it installed but I do have Eye Candy 7 working in PSP2018.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

dolphincrazy1,
With regard to your statement about the version of PSP that you're using ("the very old version 9"), I can only presume that you are referring to the Jasc version of PSP 9... is that correct?
If so, I have attempted to incorporate Eye Candy 4000 into that same version, by adding its folder to the File Locations in Jasc PSP 9, but had no success in using the various filters after doing so. Normally (at least with Corel PSP X9), with Eye Candy, PSP looks for the "EyeCandy4000.8bf" file in the Eye Candy 4000 folder, and uses that file to implement the plugin. However, it appears (at least with my testing) that this file is not compatible with the Jasc version of PSP 9. I'm not able to use any Eye Candy filters after setting up the File Location as I had in later versions of PSP (X9 or 2018).
