PSP 2018 with hi-res monitor issues

Please forgive me if this topic has been covered. I did a search and didn't find anything so here goes...
I just upgraded to a new wide screen monitor - LG 27UD58. I had to change the size of text, apps etc to 150% otherwise everything was way too tiny to see comfortably.
Now the issue. At that setting, there are several dialog boxes in PSP 2018 that are wonky (such as high-pass sharpen, clarity, etc), making those functions unusable. I contacted Corel tech support and I was told by Cho that PSP is designed to work at 100% DPI. If I change the setting to 100%, the dialog box issue goes away but now everything is back to being too tiny.
Does anyone have a work-around?

I was really hoping someone would reply.....keeping the new monitor sort of depends on whether I can still use PSP....thanks.....

Just a stab in the dark. Are you sure it's a PSP issue and not a Windows issue.
I had similar issues with a high res monitor and problem was solved by playing with various Windows settings.
