Before this last update I was able to click save as, choose PNG and then options button to create an optimized image... now it is gone. Now the save as is some basic no frills box that doesnt offer anything.

What version of PSP 2018 are you using?
We saw that with the initial update 1, but when that and other problems came up Corel pulled it and eventually replaced it. The new version number is 20.2.0.1, anything older than this is the older update. You'll need to download the newest update.

Re: PSP 2018 newest update killed my save as options
I have same problem (I think): The "Save As" dialog contain few file types (formerly it has maybe 20 items)

I choose the PNG, but the options dialog is the BMP options and the file is save in BMP...
...and I don't find 20.2, in this site I see "Update 1" - this is 20.1 - I have this version, and update didn't find any new update.
Thanks.

ATam - the original Update 1 was removed from Corel's website and a replacement Update 1 was put in its place. This new Update 1 results in a version number of 20.2.0.1. You can download it directly here - https://www.paintshoppro.com/en/support ... duct-tab=0

Re: PSP 2018 newest update killed my save as options
Looks like Corel messed up again when posting the fixed update by not making it clear in their description of the update that, as of a particular date, it was a replacement for the original Update 1 that had been available before that date and was buggy. And they could have given it a name like Update 1.1. There really is something wrong with the thinking (or lack thereof) of Corel's marketing people.LeviFiction wrote:ATam - the original Update 1 was removed from Corel's website and a replacement Update 1 was put in its place. Re: PSP 2018 newest update killed my save as options
When I close the program popup a window with "new update available", click here, etc message. But in the install finish display: The update already install - Close. This was yesterday.LeviFiction wrote:ATam - the original Update 1 was removed from Corel's website and a replacement Update 1 was put in its place. But today! I click your link, download it, install it, and it write: Finished!
I try it and it works fine! (and good some other menus too...)
Thanks!
