Not exactly, Corel have included Sonicfire Pro 6 as part of the download, however, they have not provided a plugin so that the program can be used from within VSX10, after about 30 days from installation, Sonicfire Pro reverts back to a Trial version, you can still use it, but it is severely crippled in functionality. Corel have been requested by many avid SmartSound users to include the plugin ( which is available for Pinnacle) but that has fallen on death ears, even though we would be prepared to pay extra for the plugin.
I recently updated one of my other NLEs for no other reason that they have now reintroduced SmartSound and not only have they included the plugin, but also included the full version of Sonicfire Pro 6.

Yes, at a cost of $199
2)and if i buy it don't appear as a plugin?
Correct, no plugin is available
3) can work together with VSX10 and sonic fire ?i mean to edit in a PS project using sonic fire
No, without the plugin, Sonicfire Pro can only be used as a standalone product, you would need to create you sound project outside of VSX10, save in Sonicfire Pro as a .wav file, then import the copleted sound project into VSX10
4)the same version (v6 pro) are full functionall in pinnacle?
From what I understand whilst you can purchase a plugin for Pinnacle, the version of Sonicfire is still the trial version

5)NLE???
Non-linear editor, which is what VSX10 and other video editors are classified as.

As posted above, in order to have the fully functioning (after 21 days trial) version of SFP 6, you'll have to buy it. But, in Pinnacle, you can still use Express Tracks if you have SS music on your computer and you buy the plugin for $30. At various times, Pinnacle has given away the plugin. I bought it when it was first released 6 years ago and it still works. Express Tracks is much more functional than Quicktracks which used to come with VS. Sadly, Corel in some sort of brilliant wisdom decided to remove that functionality and not even offer VS users the option of buying a plugin.

I have always had the full version of SFP since 4. I can tell you that having SFP6 functionality working within an editor is amazing. SFP6 is a really great music program. I don't know from up to which version you can "upgrade" (I had v5), but for the $70 upgrade you also get an album.

You can upgrade to SFP6 if you have SFP4 or above, for that same upgrade price, I upgraded to Magix Movie Studio 14, not that I needed to, but because Magix have reintroduced SmartSound, and not only included the plugin but also included the full version of SFP6 which can be used from within Movie Studio or as a standalone program

As I understand it, though, SF6 only comes with the Movie Studio 14 Suite, but not with the Platinum or vanilla versions. (I had already upgraded separately to SF6, but there does not appear to be any way of opening it from within Movie Studio 14 Platinum.)

Hi Ken, you are correct, SFP6 is only available with Platinum Suite

To open SFP6 from within Movie Studio 14, click on Tools, then click on Extensions, this allows you to open SFP6 (provided you have installed the plugin for which a separate key is required to activate, all required keys are provided after purchase)

Edit
To upgrade from SFP5 to SFP6 costs US$69.95
To upgrade from Movie Studio 13 Platinum Suite to 14 Platinum Suite cost US79.99, an extra US$10
Platinum 14 Suite included SFP6 and the required plugin, (Pinnacle charge US$30 for the plugin)
If you do not already own a previous full version of SFP4/5 then it will cost you US$199
If you do not already own a previous version of Movie Studio it will cost you US$199.95, the same price as SFP6
So it would seem sensible if you require the full version of SFP6 to purchase Movie Studio 14, which you are then basically getting for free

Thanks Robert. I see that SmartSound sell the plug-in for Movie Studio 14 for US$49.95. That seems rather a lot to me, given the price I have already paid for SF6. And I am used to opening Sonic Fire as a stand-alone program for Video Studio, so I might just leave things as they are.

That is a ridiculous price Ken, especially when you can upgrade to MS14 Platinum suite for just US$30 more and get Sonicfire Pro 6 and plugin as well
