creating folders

Is it possible to create new folders (maps in de Navigator) from within PSP 2018? Sometimes I need to make new maps. Of course I could do that with a Windows file manager but it would be comfortable if I could do it in PSP itself.

Sure you can Nico K.
When you want to save your image (file -> save as, or press F12), you get a file requester. At the top of the requester you see a row of 5 small symbols / icons. The middle one (with the red dot at the top right)allows you to add a map / folder for storing your image where you want it.
Is this what you are looking for?

Other than what RobertdB said, if you were looking to create a new folder while in the Manage mode by creating the folder in the folder/file tree the same way you do it in Windows Explorer, then that cannot be done.

Thanks for the response. I was hoping for a kind of solution that I know from other (also photo) programs, by rightclicking in Navigator on the folder I want to add a subfolder to. I prefer not to leave PSP. But apparently it's not possible.

I see what you're looking for. Well, IMHO that would be a nice enhancement for the navigator
