PaintShop Pro 2018 Fit to window not working

I just purchased 2018 Paintshop pro ultimate. I'm a Paintshop Pro fan so I usually update. In Paintshop Pro X8, the image fills the window after cropping (all the boxes are checked in Preferences - View). This is my preference and I think it is this way in the previous versions. In Paintshop Pro 2018, after cropping, the image shrinks in the window (no longer fills it). One has to go into the View menu and hit fit to window. The extra step is very annoying. Again, I have all the boxes checked in Preferences - View. What's the fix or is it just made this way?

Thanks glad to know it is a feature I don't want. I think I can still get a refund on 2018. X8 will work for me.

Please add an option to the crop tool toolbar that will allow the fit-to-window to continue to operate in PaintShop Pro 2018. Hopefully this can be done in the next update.

I am a long time user of PaintShop Pro, a program that I use daily. One of the major tools that I use within PaintShop Pro is the crop tool. Considering the hundreds of times weekly that I use the crop tool, I cannot ever remember using the crop tool to do a rotate.

I have just purchased PaintShop Pro 2018. I understand why this new feature has added to the crop tool unfortunately disabling the fit-to-window in the process. This enhanced rotate feature that has been added to the crop tool might occasionally be useful in the future, but only if the fit-to-window can be re-enabled allowing the crop feature of the crop tool to work as originally designed.

It is my hope that Corel will take action on this.

I hope they do. I crop all the time and decided to return to X8 instead of 2018. I asked for a refund on 2018.

I just installed Update 1 to PSP 2018. The Fit-to Windows is still broken when the Crop Tool is active and there seems to be no way to re-enable it. It is annoying at best you have to click on the pen tool and then roll the mouse wheel in order to readjust the just cropped window. I would think it would be an easy matter to just add a checkbox to the crop tool menu bar to re-enable the Fit-to-Window feature when rolling the mouse wheel. If it is not possible to re-enable the Fit-to-Window in the crop tool, maybe it is time to separate the rotate function and the crop function in two separate tools. I hope Corel deals with this problem soon because it does seem to degrade what I consider a very fine photo editing program.

I totally agree, when I open a picture or when I crop, the picture should always fit to window.
I do find that if I leave the left toolbar on the 'hand' when closing a picture, the next picture loaded fits to screen. If I leave the left toolbar on 'crop' when closing a picture, the next picture loaded will not fit to screen but will appear small on the screen.
Please fix this problem on the next update, or at least, give us the option to allow 'fit to screen' in all modes by giving us an extra tick box in 'View' > 'Docking Options' > 'View' to allow this.
