interested in free VST's ?

I just learn about these free interesting audio VST's
https://www.izotope.com/en/products/mas ... mager.html
https://www.izotope.com/en/im-looking-f ... g-ins.html

I installed them and copied the dll's into my VS19.2 but it crashes while using them
(my other NLE work with them like hot knife and butter)

Try them on your VS and report.

asik -- I'd be interested to know which other NLE you used... I haven't yet tried to install those two plug-ins, though I got the notice about them a few days ago since I am registered with Ozone as a user of the Izoptope plug-in which came as a freebie when I bought the excellent Sound Forge Audio Studio 12 recently released by Magix. (Sound Forge used to be the audio editing NLE developed by Sony and made to accompany Sony Vegas, with older versions used with Sony Movie Studio.) The package also came with Magix's existing Audio Cleaning Lab which I already had and had found to be an excellent and useful program, especially in converting vinyl music discs to digital.

I confess that when I received the notification about them and the reference in at least one of them to installing in NLEs and DAWs (digital audio workstations for the uninitiated), I thought the reference to NLEs only referred to audio NLEs as opposed to video NLEs. Hence my interest in knowing which of your video NLEs works with these plug-ins... (Looking at the Izoptope FAQs, I see that the plug-ins work with Adobe Premiere and the Avid Pro tools, but otherwise only audio NLEs are mentioned; and I assume, but don't know for sure, that even the Avid tools may be audio related...)

Ken, I still have 10 days on the trial Vegas movie studio 14P and I begin to like it a lot.
But I will wait for next version as there are still few nuisances I believe will be corrected.

But those plug-ins work in Movie Studio? If so, it's probably not surprising, given the (former) Sony link...

Recently I had a sound only project so I decided to do it on the VMS14 , I did it much quicker and with less mouse clicks than doing it in audacity.
** Strange you mentioned SF, last week as I was looking for something in my treasure drawer when I found this from 20 years ago
P923.jpg

Pre sony SF.
I'll give it a go and try to install it now.
**Now I remember why I stopped using it.... it's only a single track.

***Those vst's works in audacity also.

I upgraded to Movie Studio Platinum 14.0 about a month ago, mainly because the upgrade price given was only a few dollars more than upgrading SonicFire Pro 5 to 6 and MS14 includes a standalone full copy of SonicFire Pro 6.0

With those plugins, have not as yet, worked out how to install them,
It says to install Neutrino, download and run the installer, then load Neutrino as a plugin in your plugin host. You will then be prompted to enter your serial number, absolutely no idea what that means, with MS14 open, could not find anywhere which mentioned adding plugins

What I do like however, is the new Trimmer App. makes trimming videos so easy and it can be done before you actually add the clip to the timeline, you also have the ability to create a new media bin where all your trimmed clips can then be located, the program automatically gives each clip a sequential name and number

Robert, I D/L them from the site and got the free serial once I "registered".
Regarding MS14 , well it's most of what unfortunately VS will never be.
For the last 3 weeks I'm playing with it and amazed at what in hand. It's a true video editor.
It took me a day to find it's weakest point and that is overlays that are track based and not clip based.
This why it needs 200 tracks (vs VS only 20) and still it can't do that
VSMASK.jpg
as ez as VS.

I think in VMS15 this will be corrected, also hopefully the copy/paste selective attributes.
So then I'll jump on the VMS wagon.
And still it will keep it's fair share of other stupid things I found.
