Hi Folks
I'm a new user of VSx10. Just started working on my first video and I ran into a problem. I wanted to bump the contrast for all my video clips in the storyboard so I shift+selected all of them to group them, but then I found the options menu is greyed out unless I ungroup and select a single clip.
Not sure of the utility of the grouping feature if I cannot edit attributes when grouped - Is there another way to get this done?
Thanks

Not by grouping
modify the first clip in the timeline
right click on it and choose copy attributes
Shift / select the rest of the clips
Right click on the selected block and choose paste attributes

Re: Grouping clips does not allow editing color
Hi
I assume you are using the Colour Correction from Option – video tab.
Ok Ungroup your clips
Apply Colour Correction to the first clip
Right click clip for Copy Attributes
Shift + Click last clip to select all
Right click selection for Paste Attributes.
If you were to use the FX filters you will be able to Group and apply those filters.
Another option would be to render your clips to a single clip, then apply the effect.
