Hello! I'm trying out an old version of Corel Video Studio 12 that I bought and never used until now. So far I have figured out the program with little issue except for copying and pasting key frames.
For example I have two frames, one at 1 second the other that a half a second. I want to copy and paste these two frames several times, but the when I select copy it wont let me paste in into the storyboard view or timeline view. What gives? Shouldn't it just be Control + C then Control + V???
Cannot Copy and Paste Keyframes?

Re: Cannot Copy and Paste Keyframes?
Hi Magos
And welcome to the forums
Yes but….
Copy and paste keyframes can be a little confusing as filters may react in different ways.
For some "right click" a keyframe may allow to paste to other keyframes to the right – a few options may be available..
Other filters will not use Right Click.
The Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V may work
Select a keyframe CTRL + C to copy
Select another keyframe for Ctrl + V to paste
If you tell us which filters you are using we can compare results.

Re: Cannot Copy and Paste Keyframes?
I am not using any filter. I am trying to create a flickering terminal effect by switching between the two frames.

Hi
How did you create the keyframes you are trying to copy/paste?

Re: Cannot Copy and Paste Keyframes?
I simply inserted two different .PNG images of graphics I created. Right click and import image, then set the timing for the frames.

Re: Cannot Copy and Paste Keyframes?
Hi Magos
And apologies for any confusion on my part…
Video Studio 12 is quite old and I am not sure if copy and paste a clip is available using that version. (we cannot use CTRL + C or Ctrl+ V ) to create a copy of a clip.
After placing the clips on the timeline Ctrl + A should select all clips, a right click should give the option to “copy”, floating the mouse to an empty timeline and left click should replicate/drop the clips. Repeat the process till you have sufficient images
If that does not work – drag the two images to a new library page.
Drag back to timeline, you have four images, drag all to library, has 6.
Drag back to timeline, has 10.
Select all clips then right click for Change Photo Duration.
Is that what you are trying to do?
