.XMP sidecar

Post by wsmyth »

I would love to be able to put my .XMP sidecar files into a different folder, like maybe a subfolder of the folder where the pictures are in (like Picasa did). Is there anyway to do this?

If you export all your photos then you could send them to an export queue which contains a script that would copy the .XMP to a subdirectory. I don't know of another way to deal with this, so any .XMP files not dealt with in your export batch are going to stay in the same folder as the photos to which they relate.
