Vid Studio X10 Pro

Post by GrifsGrif »

Hi again Have just tried to run some previously runnable mp4 and mpg slide shows (videos) to get the message "Server Execution Failed".

Just short slide shows of our new grandson tests with only about 5 images. Took on a USB stick parents and it worked fine on their MAC. The disc I thought I'd created did nothing on their TV via a DVD player.

Incidentally, can anyone tell me what formats to use for TV on DVD please. I think MP3 and MP4 are OK for computer.

Thanks in anticipation again.

Hi again

Did the standard thing - Computer Off then On.

No improvement, then I actually ran Win Media Player App in Win 7 Pro and got sound on many music items. Then went to folders and played some old videos - OK then went to some mp3 and mp4 previously successful X10 Ultimate test slide shows with only about 5 images and they ran with sound.

Hurrah.

Any further comments, most welcome.

Is your problem solved? If the problem was in VS, it is not clear to me what the problem is. I hope you can be more specific how one could help you.

If the problem is that you can't get a DVD to play, the solution may require testing the disk in other DVD's to see if it's a player problem. Since you got a USB flash drive to play, that's what I would recommend to stick with. As you move into more modern formats, like 4K, DVD's won't work anyway.
