Re: TRIM VIDEO
Really ???
put the video in the timeline, cut each end of the piece you want to keep, delete the bits you do not want to keep, render the video you want to keep

Re: TRIM VIDEO
Use the Scissor icon in the Preview window to cut the video wherever the display view is.

Re: TRIM VIDEO
I think he is worried about what this does to the subtitles he inserts under those videos he wants to cut. Obviously the subtitles would need cutting too, and all this would need to be carefully done to get out whole sentences in subtitles and the video they are meant to be covering. But since I have never had to use subtitles, I can't really say much more than that.

Re: TRIM VIDEO
Move the orange trim markers under the preview window in from each end until the left one is lined up with the start of the bit you wish to keep - - and the right hand one is lined up with the end of the bit you wish to keep.. An Orange line should now be showing just above the top video in the timeline - if you play the video it will ONLY play the bit under the orange line so you can check you have all the bits you want
now Go to 'Share' and set up for your normal render of a video clip - - - BUT - - BUT - - BUT - before you render make sure you click to tick the little box next to "create preview range only" - now when you click 'Start' Videostudio will render a video clip with only what was under the orange line in it
